Tak is a northern province covering an area of 6406 square kilometers of mostly mountainous. Provincial capital is 426 km north of Bangkok, and is located on Ping river basin. To the west, the border touches the Myanmar demarcated by mountain ranges and Moei River.
Thi Lo Su Waterfall
Lying in Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary is the finest in Thailand. Khao Tham

King Taksin the Great Shrine
Located Charotte Withithong Road, this statue of Tak’s most famous native son (1734-1782) was the site of an annual fair from 28.12 until January 3. King Taksin was the Thai monarch who expelled the Burmese from Thailand after the 1767 destruction of Ayutthaya as the Thai capital.
